Many thanks once again for your generosity in supporting our Picture Quiz. This year it has raised £616 towards the Friends of RV Mission which will help with the ongoing medical and nutritional costs at the leprosy village in Purulia, West Bengal, which houses around 40 long term leprosy sufferers.

There were a small number of entries submitted with all answers correct, and the first one of these drawn out of the hat, and winning a selection of wines, was Mr Alan Rea, of Diggle, near Oldham.

Nepal Earthquake

Friends of R V Mission’s contribution towards helping recent Nepal earthquake victims including personal donation of Angela Stevenson, David Green, Samir Ghosh and Cheryl Williams being handed over to the Consulate General of Nepal in Kolkata by the Monks of R V Mission

Toilet Facilities

Our ongoing new project of installing a toilet complex and septic tank in this ‘Rahamad Danga’ leprosy colony at Asansol near Purulia, West Bengal, India.  It will be funded by our dedicated supporters, the John of Gaunt Commandery of the Order of St Lazarus, organised by R V Mission Purulia and arranged by Believers’ Church medical Centre, Purulia.

New project to help sensory impaired children at Suryapur Unit of R V Mission

Following our successful project of helping to build hearing test unit and donation of hearing aids to hearing impaired girls at the Sensory Impaired Unit at Suryapur branch of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission  Barrackpore  West Bengal  India  we are planning to purchase more hearing aids to meet their further requirements to comply with our objectives of dedicated help for distressed and needy children of India.
