Donation Received


Our dedicated supporter Pat Scott from Scotland has donated £300 towards our objective by saving coins in a glass jar.  She has also donated £500 last year towards our water project and sponsoring an orphan child at the Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission, West Bengal, India.

Our sincere  thanks and  endless gratitude to our friend Pat.

Alice Cruickshank's Birthday Party

Photos from Alice's Casino themed garden party. You may recognise Ian and of course, there's Georgia, Alice's little sister, now almost 13. 

 The sum of £110 was raised by Alice's friends donating their pocket money to the Mission instead of giving her presents for her 18th birthday.

Update

·         Helen Cruickshank from Scotland has donated £100 towards purchasing and distributing Christmas cakes to the children at the Mission in India.

·         Dr S Panna has donated £20 for the same purpose and we are expecting further donation from the members and Trustees.

·         Mrs Johanna Wild will be visiting R V Mission second time,  for two weeks in January 2011, she will meet all sponsored and other children and also view all projects.  She will also visit leprosy village in Purulia with Samir Ghosh.

·         Samir will be working at the R V Mission, which he does every year, for one month ( January to February 2012 ).  He will meet all children, view different projects,  discuss with most officials and other relevant individuals.

Update


  • Ms Pat Scott from Scotland has donated £300.00 towards our objectives.  In the past she also raised over £500.00 with our member Ann Roberts towards installation of a tube-well which has benefited hundreds of villagers living in the remote areas  of Purulia, West Bengal, India.


  • The Broughton Catholic Charitable Society has donated £500.00 to install a tube-well as a part of our water project in the district of Purulia.  The formal presentation to be held at The Holy Family Church in Blackpool on Sunday 20 November 2011.

Update

  •          A donation of £500 has been received towards the future education of a sponsored child  at the R V Mission as she wants to be trained as a nurse.
  •          A donation of £100 has been made towards purchasing shoes for the leprosy sufferers at the leprosy village at Purulia.
  •    Dr Sharmin Panna has sponsored another child  Sonia  ( girl ) along with her present sponsored child Sourav ( boy ) from 1 August 2011.
  •          We are hosting a fund raising event  for FORVM on 24 September 2011 with music, singing and dancing at Chorlton, Manchester and welcoming everybody.  Contact Samir or Angela for more details.
