New toilet block at Patharmura

Friends of R V Mission is sponsoring the construction of a toilet block for boys and girls at the Patharmura school at Patharmura Branch, West Bengal, India.

Picture quiz update

This year's picture quiz, organised by David Haywood, raised a magnificent amount of £635, which will go towards the nutritional and medical visits to the Purulia Leprosy Village, co-ordinated by the RV Mission. The quiz was won by Mrs Margaret Thompson, from Saddleworth, and the picture shows her receiving her prize from Edna Green.

Donation from Order of St Lazarus

The Commandery of John of Gaunt made a donation of £1000 towards the ongoing sponsorship of children at the Mission, and the picture shows the Commander, Professor Marios Adamou, presenting the cheque to David Haywood on behalf of FORVM.
